2011 has truly been a very special year.
In January, I had bridal pictures done by Kristin & Jeremy as a surprise for my future husband and prepared to GET MARRIED!
(I wish I had to room to share the whole album with you; they are all so beautiful! See more here)
In February, I married my dream man--the wonderful, godly man I had prayed for. Our family and friends traveled long distances to celebrate our marriage with us. Thanks to our talented musicians and dedicated family and friends, our wedding day honored Christ and the love He gave us.
After our wedding, we went to Pebble Hill Plantation where Kristin & Jeremy took our outstanding wedding pictures.
(Once again, I want to share them all, but you can see more here.)
Then I moved to Pensacola, Florida where my new husband lived.
I fell in love with him more each day.
In the summer, we helped my Dad celebrate his 20th anniversary of being the pastor of Boston Baptist Church.
We surprised my dad by giving him special framed letter from his favorite seminary professor, Dr. Harold Burchett.
We celebrated our nation's birthday with a picnic outing near
Pensacola Bay with our friends and fireworks..
In August, we sang at my college friend wedding in Savannah and then visited my in-laws in Illinois for my sister-in-law, Lizzie's wedding. I love getting to spend time with my new brothers and sisters.
(Yep, my husband has a BIG family...he's the oldest of 13)
We loved our visit to Chicago.
(my opportunity to get my own unique shot of "The Bean")
In October, after living a short time in Pensacola,
we said good-bye to all our new friends and move to south Georgia for my husband to become the youth director at Boston Baptist Church.
And my husband ran his second half marathon.
(Since, I can only run like 2 to 3 miles at a time, I cannot fathom running 13+ miles...so I am in awe.)
In December, we celebrated our first Christmas together.
I am so grateful for the many wonderful and lovely people in my life who have made 2011 an amazing year!
