We were looking forward to Alex and Lyndsey's wedding, especially after their beautiful engagement session at Maclay Gardens. Just like in our own wedding, Lyndsey's dad would be walking her down the aisle and also performing part of the ceremony. The venue--First Methodist Monticello--is a historic church built in the late 1800s. We just oo-ed and ah-ed over the stain glassed windows! Lyndsey and Alex exchanged presents before the ceremony, but chose not to see each other before the ceremony, except for one sweet moment when they held hands and prayed together (around a door). This day was filled with family, tears, laughter, and a great deal of love.
Alex and Lyndsey, thank you for letting us share in your special day! May your love and commitment last for a lifetime!
